Why merino?

Merino wool is the thinnest sheep wool and thus:

  • very gentle and pleasant on the skin
  • soft
  • breathable
antibacterial and antimicrobial which is why it does not retain odors and stays fresh for long
    absorbs water without feeling damp
  • does not leave anyone cold even in the hardest conditions.
  • it's an eco-friendly since it's renewable resource and also biodegradable (does not produce plastic trash like polyester)

The merino fabric we use is:

  • woven in Europe in fair conditions.
  • Öko-Tex 100 certified, not superwash.

Custom fit

We are happy to adjust the pattern to fit you perfectly for no extra charge.

Please add your measurements as a comment to your order:
1 - chest circumference - measured on top of the breast
2 - arm length - measured from where the should end down to the hand
3 - hoodie length - measured along the spine on the back
See illustration on how to measure in the pictures above.

If it's easier for you, you can measure another well fitting garment of yours:
1 - width between the armpits
2 - sleeve length (from the shoulder seam)
3 - length - measured in the middle of the back

Care

Taking care of merino is easy if you follow a few simple directions:

  • 💨 don't wash often - wool is antibacterial and self cleaning so hanging it on the fresh air is often enough
  • 👐 when you wash, prefer hand wash
  • 🌀 if machine wash, do as at max. 30°C/ 86°F and most importantly do soft spin (max. 600 cycles)
  • 💧 use only wool safe detergents
  • ⚡ do not tumble dry
  • ⚡ do not iron (you anyway don't need to, it doesn't wrinkle and life is too short to iron)
  • 🪲 keep away from moths

Responsibility

For us it was important to get a responsibly made fabric, and we are very proud we managed! We use entirely mulesing-free merino wool woven in Europe. We sew each piece with great care and love in our workshop in the Bulgarian mountains. For nature and the sheeps' sake, do wear your hoodie long. It is made to last. We accept repairs and will gladly do them for free!

To not add to the amount of plastic trash, each hoodie is simply packed in a beautiful handmade fabric bag, which we encourage you to keep and reuse.

With love and respect for nature.
